Just a few days after its opening weekend, the Bikepark Leogang welcomes some of the biggest names in mountain biking to the Out of Bounds Festival taking place from May 24th – 27th. The downhiller’s and the dirt jumper’s starting list feature some of the sports’ biggest names for this year’s OoB Festival, on the one hand due to the rehearsal for the UCI DH World Championships at the end of August, on the other hand due to lots of important points up for grab in the fight for the FMB World Tour champion 2012. Don’t miss the Out of Bounds Festival, if you want to see mountain bike action on a top class level!

The Out of Bounds Festival is going into its seventh edition being recognized as one of the most important mountain bike events in Europe. Not without reasons it is often compared to the Crankworx Festival in Whistler. As far us line up and atmosphere the Out of Bounds Festival is in no way inferior to its Canadian brother-event. The hosts in Leogang proudly present the probably most prominent line up a European iXS Downhill Cup has ever had including Troy Brosnan, Brendan Fairclough, Brook McDonald, Sam Blenkinsop and both Mick and Tracey Hannah.

As the second highlight, the 26TRIX fueled by Monster Energy is also hosted in the Bikepark Leogang. Within the freeride scene this event is noticed as one of the most action-packed shows at all. Being judged as one of only eight Gold events by the Freeride Mountain Bike Association (FMBA), we get to see the biggest names of freeriding in Leogang: Title defender Brandon Semenuk as well as his Canadian compatriot, the 16 year old trick machine Anthony Messere, Sam Pilgrim and Sam Reynolds from Great Britain or the Swedish trick machine Martin Soderstrom will give their best to take away as many World Tour points as possible and of course a big chunk of the prize purse of 15,000 Euros.
