2013 Sea Otter Classic Men and Women XC FInals

Round up from the Specialized crew featuring the Sea Otter Classic XC Finals, some interesting interviews with the riders and also a behind the scenes look at how the mechanics manage the race…

“The athletes of Specialized Racing tackle the cross country mountain bike race at the 2013 Sea Otter Classic. The team successfully placed riders on both the men’s and women’s podiums. In warm, dry, dusty conditions, it was a strong showing for what amounts to a “home” course. (Specialized headquarters are less than an hour away.)

Different riders had different equipment preferences for the day. Some favored the full suspension Epic, others opted for the lightest setup with the Stumpjumper HT, while most of the women chose the ultralight and responsive Fate Carbon 29er.”
