The Radon Magura Factory Team is proud to announce their new racing program for 2016. After a successful first full season in World Cup Downhill racing, the Radon Magura Factory Team will add Enduro racing to their factory program.

The Radon Magura Factory Team athletes will be fighting for top 10 finishes during the UCI Downhill World Cups and the Enduro World Series, riding respectively the Radon DH Swoop 200 and Superenduro Swoop 170 / Enduro Slide 160 bikes.

Johannes Fischbach - Radon Magura Factory Team

Johannes Fischbach (GER) – Germany’s fastest DH rider, In 2013 Johannes finished 9th at the UCI DH Champions and is the current IXS EDC overall winner.

“I´m really pumped to start a new chapter in my career with the Radon Magura Factory Team. Everybody is super motivated and the team is very professional! That’s exactly what I need. I´m really stoked about the team line-up. Bring on the races :-)”

Nick Beer (CH) – Red Bull rider who has proven to be no stranger to top 20 DH World Cup finishes.

With the new team members we definitely have a competitive world cup team and we’ll have a great time without a doubt!”

Faustin Figaret (FRA) – The French connection. Regular podium finishes at the Coupe de France, and a 9th place finish during the 2015 World Cup in Lourdes shows this kid has got the speed.

Benny Strasser (GER) – Magura’s own engineer, he literally brings world cup experience to the table. In 2015 Benny earned top 30 World Cup finishes and several national DH race wins.

“With the Radon Magura Factory Team, I had my best international season so far. Of course, I am more than happy to continue with such a cool team. Imagining riding for two of the best brands, from my home country, makes it very special for me. Working together with Radon and Magura is a privilege and I am really looking forward being together with my mates again. Pretty excited to battle it out with our newbies Fischi and Faustin.”

Carina Cappelari - Radon Magura Factory Team

Carina Cappellari (CH) – After 4 top-10 finishes in 2015, this girl is ready for her first World Cup DH podiums in 2016.

“After a good last season I am very excited to be part of the Radon Magura Factory Team again in 2016. I feel very comfortable on the bike and the support from all the staff was perfect. I can’t wait to jump on the new bike, hang out with the team and travel to the races.”

Raphaela Richter - Radon Magura Factory Team

Raphaella Richter (GER) – Overall winner of the Sram Specialized Enduro Series in the elite category and winner of the EWS race in Scotland (U21) at the age of 17.

“I’m motivated like never before. One of my goals this year is winning the German national elite title in Enduro. Concerning EWS racing, I want to gain experience and compare myself with the top girls in the elite class. Taking the EWS overall title in U21 would of course be very welcome ☺.”

James Shirley (SCO) – The current number 4 at the first European Enduro Championships.

“I can’t believe this is already my third year riding for Radon Bikes. Each year gets bigger and better and for 2016 I am really excited. The Radon Magura Factory Team consists of a great bunch of riders and I feel I have a healthy relationship with our manager and the brands we represent. For enduro racing we have two new frames available – a super lightweight Carbon Slide 140 and an aggressive aluminium Swoop 170. Some of my feedback has gone into the development of the Swoop 170 so I can’t wait to get on it at the races.”
