The Atlas range from Race Face has been synonymous with stiffness and strength for some time. The all-new Atlas 35 is designed to be used with the new 35mm diameter bars in their range. Whilst the stem is noticeably bigger than the standard 31.8 version it isn’t very much heavier as they have strived to remove the weight from the stem whilst retaining the stiffness. When you couple the stem with the bars and the weight that has been saved with the reduced amount of material needed for the bigger diameter, the entire handlebar and stem system is lighter than the older 31.8mm standard. It features a cleaver U-Shaped interlocking handlebar clamp system for extra security and the faceplate has been designed to reduce the stress on your bars, and of course increase stiffness of the overall system. We really loved the angles of adjustment tastefully etched into the sides of the stem too, allowing you to get your preferred angle set up just right on the bars.
