These lightweight winter gloves from Gore are just the ticket for those wet wintery rides. They offer 100% wind and waterproof protection in a thin material that won’t stop you from losing feeling through the bars. The WindStopper soft shell makes them very comfy to wear and the palm area offers plenty of padding to make all day rides less of a strain. Silicone coated finger tips add extra grip for braking and the long elasticised cuffs mean you can get your jacket over the top easily.

On the Trail

These gloves are super soft, pulling them on for the first time is a real joy, the thin material moulds easily as you grip the bars and you hardly notice you are wearing them. We tested them in a downpour and they are indeed waterproof and fully wind proof too. Perfect for keeping your hands dry, they do offer some warmth, being windproof is an improvement in heat retention over some other offerings. But on really cold days it was hard to keep your fingers warm. That said they are a lightweight glove rather than a full on winter affair.

Overall

So comfortable and soft to wear, perfect if you don’t like losing touch with your handlebars through layers of glove! Padding and grip in the right places and waterproof and windproof what more could you ask for?
