Endura 2016 Products at Eurobike
The Scottish outerwear brand has been a force in the market for some time, even summer in the highlands can be wet and cold, so these guys are well placed for making quality product! Their range just keeps on growing too with just about every rider covered and ever condition catered for, they even make some great looking warm weather gear too!
The MT500 range is their top spec mountain bike range and has been a flagship of the brand for some time. The jacket has undergone a major overhaul this year and now carries the moniker MT500 II. It’s the jacket Danny MacAskill wears when he is out filming in foul weather. Constructed using ExoShell60 3 layer fabric it is extremely waterproof but also very breathable.
It is durable too easily able to withstand the vigour’s of mountain biking, in addition there are wear and grip patches on the shoulders to keep your bag in place.
Talking of bags there is a new range of packs in the Endura line up! The 15L MT-500 pack features the same high-end tech you would expect from the range, bit also a removable Koroyd back protector. Koroyd is an exceedingly light material, making the MT-500 one of the lightest packs around with protection built in. It is also exceedingly breathable, essentially being lots small tubes bonded together. The protector carries the EN1621-2 Level 2 safety standard (Level 2 is better than Level 1 by the way) and it has to be the lightest protector on the market right now. Helmet carry and hydration come as standard too.
There is also a Singltrack pack, which is smaller and lighter but doesn’t feature the back protection option. Both packs feature tool roll pockets, waterproof pockets for valuables and breathable mesh straps and contact points.
Also on display was last years Singletrack Helmet which is available again along with their eyewear range and protection gear too.
