Heads up, there’s a pair of hot new rides in town! Before 2016 is in the books Propain launches two new bikes. The brand new Rage Carbon which has been released as a limited „First Edition“ a few months ago is now ready for order in three configurations.

The second release is the Allmountain version of the well acclaimed Enduro bike Tyee. Both bikes are more versatile than any Propain bike before. The Rage Carbon offers plenty of geometry options and covers four frame sizes with two frames which enables customers to find the perfect fit for their personal preference. The Tyee frame is the base for an efficient Allmountain-/trailbike and for an incredible strong Enduro bike with plenty of backup even for bikepark days.

Rage Carbon: one frame – two sizes

The new Rage Carbon has been completely redesigned and comes with a couple of innovative features. The highlight is the new adjustable head tube which allows the rider to adjust the bike’s size simply by flipping the head tube inserts resulting in a +/-10mm change of reach. In addition to the +/-10mm inserts the frame comes with 0mm inserts as well allowing the rider to find the perfect reach size for his preference.

On top of the reach adjustment the chain stay length can be adjusted as well giving the rider the option for a more nimble 445mm length or a long setting with a massive 459mm for the gnarliest and steepest WC tracks out there. Combine the reach adjustment with the chain stay length adjustment option and the new Rage CF will make a perfect fit for every rider.

Build kits

Customers can choose between three build kits or the popular custom option „Project Free“ version. Even the most affordable option „Comp“ comes at 3.399€ with an amazing build kit which is ready-to-race. A Rock Shox Boxxer RC fork is combined with a Cane Creek Double Barrel Coil shock and the new SRAM GX 1×7 group. The high end version „World Cup“ is a no compromise build with a full Fox suspension setup, SRAM X01 1×7 with Carbon cranksets, Magura MT7 and Zelvy Carbon wheelsets. The only downside of this bike is that there is nothing left to improve.

The Rage Carbon comes in a vibrant mint green or a classic silver option. For all customers who prefer their individual style the frame can also be ordered in Carbon RAW and custom color decals.

Tyee: one name – four choices

At the Eurobike 2016 Propain already launched three different versions of their most successful model Tyee: a Carbon Enduro frame, the little brother which is based on the same main frame, the AM Carbon Tyee and the proven and well known Aluminum version of the Tyee Enduro. To close the last gap Propain now offers a more affordable option of the Tyee AM with an Aluminum frame as well which completes the pack and should ensure every customer finds the right bike for their budget and liking.

The Tyee is without any doubt capable to hit the gnarliest trails on earth but what makes it stand out from the crowd is the incredible pedal efficiency which enables Propain to use the same frame for the more nimble AM version which features a shorter fork and a shock with less stroke. The result is a longer reach, a shorter stack and steeper head and seat tube angles. On the trail both versions will make you smile but the AM version is simply even faster and more efficient on the uphill while the Enduro screams for speed and airtime on the downhill. Your choice.

As usually there are plenty of options for the Tyee so that truly everyone will find the perfect build kit and frame according to their budget and liking. As one of the first bike manufacturers Propain offers the option to pick the new and well-reviewed Bikeyoke Revive adjustable seat post. It is available in 125mm and 160mm length. All build kits in one table:

The Tyee AM is available in Aluminum RAW, matte green and gunmetal grey. On top of that there are four decal color options. Still not individual enough? In this case the Project Free version offers almost unlimited choices for frame and decal colors.

All details, geometry data and options on the new Rage Carbon are available at the Propain online shop.
