Endura has a lot to celebrate at this year’s Eurobike. Not only does 2018 mark 25 years of Endura #AllTribesOneClan, it is also the centenary of women in UK and Germany winning the right to vote. Endura pride themselves on their track record and commitment to gender equality and work with an unrivalled host of world class female athletes across all of cycling’s various tribes: road, MTB, track and triathlon, and they’re proud to call them part of the Endura clan. The Scottish company’s inspirational roster includes World, European and National Champions as well as race winners at the very highest levels of our sport. A selection of these athletes featured in a brilliant little film where they were asked to give their advice to their 12 year old self.

Endura’s overarching theme for Eurobike 2018 is therefore AllTribes, AllWoman, as a celebration of women’s achievements in society as well as sports. Endura also celebrates a host of new, innovative, fresh products across road, MTB, commute, urban and triathlon clothing as well as categories such as helmets and eyewear – here are some highlights of the 2019 collection that will be launched at Eurobike 2018.

MTB: MT500 – Atherton Approved

MTB royalty – the Atherton Clan ride Endura MT500 from 2018. The NEW MT500 Burner Pant II borrows innovation from the race kit developed for the Athertons of Trek Factory Racing DH, taking advantage of the latest durable stretch fabrics to provide the desired contemporary, flap free, slim fit with the freedom of movement required for extreme DH riding. Available in a limited edition full print version in addition to the two standard colourways, the MT500 Burner Pant II stands out in terms of design as well as performance.

The matching limited edition MT500 L/S Print T – as ridden by the Athertons – comes in a men’s and in a women’s version and is made from fast wicking, lightweight fabric with a full sublimation print. With a reputation forged over 25 years, manufacturing no-nonsense, bulletproof bike kit, Endura brings the weird science of non-Newtonian fluids to their MT500 mountain bike protectors for 2019. Using D3O’s ground breaking inserts, the new protectors exploit the wonder material’s incredible characteristics to achieve certified protection in downhill race ready and lightweight formats. The new MT500 Hard Shell Knee Pad and MT500 Lite Knee Pad benefit from the Athertons’ input and are the first products to use D3O’s latest generation LP1 insert which is more open, lighter and cooler than its predecessor, bringing all day ride-ability to hardcore armour.

Protection – it’s in our DNA.

The MTBers Holy Grail

“Durability” and “light weight” have generally been two properties that are mutually exclusive in MTB kit – so you’ve been able to have one or the other, not both. Now you can have your cake and eat it as Endura launch key pieces in ultra lightweight bulletproof fabrics. Endura capture the holy grail of packable performance within the SingleTrack collection thanks to the development of packable Cordura. Long a mainstay material in Endura’s rugged mountain bike ranges, it is now being used in innovative ways to make the super tough, but featherweight SingleTrack Durajak and the super light, waterproof Durapak. All boxes ticked, all trails ridden.

Helmets: MT500 Full Face Helmet, MT500JR Youth Helmet

2019 sees continued extension of Endura’s collaboration with Koroyd® with the new MT500 Full Face Helmet and the MT500JR Youth Helmet being added to the Scottish company’s impressive helmet line-up.

Constant disruptors. Endura now bring their game changing safety story to the full face helmet category. The all new MT500 Full Face Helmet is the first to use Koroyd® technology at the burly end of the mountain bike helmet market and brings full head and face protection for enduro, downhill and bike park riders into the expanding helmet offering. Safety needn’t come at the expense of comfort and by using large vents and an air intake zone as well as fast wicking padding means that this is a lid that doesn’t have to be removed when the trail heads upwards.

To ensure that taking risk has never been safer for our young talent, Endura introduces the MT500JR Youth Helmet – the junior version of the award winning adult MTB lid. This high performance mountain bike helmet meets the “better than standard” Koroyd® Safety Initiative targets reducing risk of serious head injury from 40% to below 5% without any weight penalty thanks to the full Koroyd® core which provides superior, lightweight, breathable protection.
