Kona Gravity Team rider Miranda Miller introduces the all-new Process 134! Join Miranda on a Pacific Northwest Adventure aboard the first full-carbon Process bike. The Process 134 represents years of engineering, testing, and industrial design to create the perfect balance of trail, all-mountain, and pure shred machine.

Kona have just released their new Process 134 platform which features a total lineup of 6 different models all featuring, you guessed it – 134mm travel at the rear. With varying price points too (prices TBC) expect the top 2 carbon models to sit firmly at the top of the family tree with the remaining 4 alloy models slotting in neatly beneath, Kona should have a bike at a price point for almost everyone here.

As is the current trend, it’s longer, lower and slacker than before but it’s still billed by Kona as, “maintaining the classic Kona feel of being really freaking fun!” With a relatively slack 66 degree head angle and a fairly steep seat angle of around 76.5 degrees, expect this new bike to be a sure fire killer out on the trails, whether you’re cruising along some sublime back country singletrack, or hammering it down a rough, rocky descent. Sizing has improved too, with 4 sizes available with the Reach measurement ranging from 425mm on the size small to a pretty substantial 510mm Reach on the XL size, with this in mind we expect most people should be able to find a model that suits both size as well as budget!

The Process 134 CR DL 29 represents two and half years of design iterations, mechanical engineering and real-world testing. Born from the beloved Process 111, it ticks all of the longer/lower/slacker boxes while still maintaining the classic Kona feel of really freaking fun. The FULL carbon frame features a 140mm RockShox Pike Ultimate fork up front, a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock and a SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. With a build this sweet the 134 CR DL leaves nothing to be desired. The Process name has been with Kona the last six years so we wanted to ensure the 134 fit everything we love about the current lineup but also brought something really fresh and fun to the mix. We’ve put just the perfect amount of travel, just the right geometry, and given riders a choice between six variations of frame material and wheel size to choose from. We truly believe this is a bike for everyone.  – Kona
