On the second weekend in June, bikers will return in the saddle at the Bike Park in Commezadura to enjoy its four highly technical trails. Transportations services will be reinforced for the 2023 summer, with BikeBus already available from April 21st.

In less than two months, the bike summer season will get off for good in Val di Sole. Saturday, June 10th, marks the official opening of Bike Park Val di Sole, home of the UCI MTB World Cup stage in Trentino (June 30th – July 2nd, 2023), and highlight of the bike offer of one of the most popular MTB destinations in Europe.

From Saturday, June 10th, to Sunday, September 24th, the Val di Sole Bike Park facilities will be open to bikers every day (8.30-12.45 CET and 14.00-17.15 CET), while from 5th to 20th August the Bike Park will observe a non-stop schedule (08.30-17.15 CET).

The Daolasa – Val Mastellina 1 cableways give direct access to the Val di Sole Bike Park, offering bike enthusiasts the opportunity to measure themselves along four highly technical trails, in the stage of the memorable challenges among Downhill starts in one of the most popular and cherished stages of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.

Three are the red tracks, Wild Grizzly, Golden Eagle and White Wolf, while the Black Snake, the most iconic one of the whole World Cup calendar, with its irregular mix of roots, rocks and thrills at every turn, is classified as a black track.

Purchasing the ticket online gives the opportunity of skipping the queue, picking up the bikepass at the automatic ticket machine. There are several choices available to bikers, and buying the ticket online gives access to several discounts: a 20% reduction is applied to the Bike Pass Folgarida Marilleva and a 10% discount to the daily bike passes on Saturday and Sunday, and from August 5th to 27th (2-hour passes, morning and afternoon, included).

On Saturday, June 10th, the Bike Park PontediLegno-Tonale will also open its gates. It is the first family-friendly Bike Park in Trentino, thanks to its courses also suitable for kids, and it will be open for all bike lovers until Sunday, September 10th.

INTERMODAL MOBILITY FOR BIKERS: BIKE TRAIN AND BIKE BUS

There is no better way than to have fun and explore Val di Sole than riding a bike. In order to maximize this opportunity, customized intermodal public transports have been conceived for all cyclists to travel comfortably with their bikes, reaching the cycling path of the valley or the starting points of many MTB itineraries sustainably.

Bikers can choose between the BikeTrain (equipped to transport 80 bikes) and the BikeBus (equipped for 24 bikes), and get their ticket directly on board, with the addition of €2 to the personal ticket for transporting the bike. For Val di Sole Guest Card holders, the service is free of charge.

The BikeTrain service will be available from June 24th to September 10th on the Mostizzolo – Malè – Dimaro – Mezzana line, with the possibility of travelling all the way to Trento. The line will be extended from Friday, August 4th to Sunday, August 27th, with a supplementary BikeBus service offering an additional four trips on the Mostizzolo – Mezzana route.
