When this softshell arrived in the office it caused something of a stir, it’s nothing if not striking. The slightly shiny appearance harks back to the 80’s whilst the colour coded zips and ribbed cuffs and waistband ooze style. It’s more than just a looker though, featuring Profila Softshell material, which is windproof and water resistant to protect you from the cold weather.

While it isn’t strictly waterproof it is perfect for those cold dry days in the saddle. The cut is great with a generous back and long arms so it doesn’t ruffle up when you are riding. The hood is designed to go over a helmet too, which is a nice touch. Integrated vents and pockets with two-way zips keep things technical and there are two chest pockets, the zippered one is perfect for your phone.

Great styling, really warm on cold days and some well thought out features make this a jacket we won’t be taking off for a long time. It’s almost been deemed too good to get muddy, except it already is sadly!
