Made from Fox’s lightweight, four-way stretch and highly breathable Trudri fabric, the Attack Pro Jersey is a laser-cut, seem-welded piece of material engineering and should, in theory, keep riders feeling and looking cool in sunny climates.

The main body of the jersey uses an extremely airy mesh, while the arms offer a denser weave to keep the wind chill down and increase protection. The inclusion of Cordura reinforced forearms and elbows is a neat touch and it’s nice to know they’re in situ should the gravel beckon.

The cuffs make use of a laminated strip of material to provide shape, making the openings fit snugly around the wrists for a close, fitted look. A welded crew neck and large laser-cut underarm vents complete the detailing.

On The Trail

On throwing the jersey over my head and pulling on the sleeves the first thing I noticed was how tight the cuffs are due to that aforementioned laminated strip. Whilst it isn’t a big deal and some may like the close fit, it did take some tugging to get my extra-large hands through the openings on the large-sized jersey.

The reverse of the procedure required pulling the sleeves inside-out in order to free my hands from the jersey’s grip. If, like me, you like to push your sleeves up for added ventilation then don’t expect these to go more than a couple of inches up your arms.

Cuff quibbles aside, the Attack Pro Jersey felt extremely light and airy for much of the ride and did a great job of wicking moisture away on the climbs, drying again very quickly soon after - the torso material providing plenty of ventilation on the ups and the downs. It’s also nice to have a colourway other than black to choose from!

The idea of the Cordura pads on the arms is a great one and should offer good protection in the most common of scrapes, however, the pads on our jersey began to delaminate on one arm prior to use on the trails.

Overall

A very breathable, smart, closely tailored biking jersey that will get you noticed and keep you performing though the summer months. Just watch out for those tight cuffs and make sure to check the Cordura panels are nailed down properly.
