With a carbon faceplate it’s no wonder the Crank Brothers Iodine 3 wins the contest in terms of weight. This all-mountain stem has had a pretty major update this year, and the steerer clamp wedge has been refreshed to be a little more traditional with a 2-bolt clamp design. There is still a wedge there, but it is lighter and tidies up the look of the stem when it is on the steerer tube. The carbon faceplate has been updated too and the 4-bolt clamp system claims to be 30% stiffer than the previous model. The stack height has also been reduced and the new stem feels stiffer on the trails, when you consider its weight it is incredibly solid.Buy Stems on
