Get a load of these awesome photos and a prime piece of video from the Polygon UR team camp in Queenstown, NZ as they met up to prep for the new season and get used to riding their new rigs. Chasing our dreams is what we live for. When we meet in Queenstown for our annual team camp, we reflect on the last years and set our goals for the new race season coming. Once we put our new jerseys on and get on our new bikes, we can’t help going for a big train ride!

“I’m excited to be heading into my 16th World Cup season and my 6th with Polygon UR. I’m enjoying my bike and the whole World Cup racing process more than ever. It’s a very special year for me having World Championships come to the place where I raced my first mountain bike race. The team is improving more and more each year. We have great support from our sponsors with great products, it’s going to be a good year!”

– Mick Hannah

People take their new year resolution on the 1st of January but for us, couple weeks before the racing season starts, we gather in Queenstown for our annual team camp. This is where we reflect on the last years, think about our dreams, reset our goals and set our intention for this new season coming.

“I am super excited for the racing season to start, I have made a lot of changes this offseason with regards to training and mental preparation. There is nothing more exciting that the fact we will race world champs in our hometown. A goal of mine is to win a world cup this year, and my biggest goal is the world champs.”

– Tracey Hannah

No matter how many race seasons we can have under our belt, getting our new jersey and new bikes get us excited to ride all together and pumped to go racing.

“I have worked very hard on and off the bike all winter surrounded by motivated people and I hope all these efforts will pay off. Can’t wait for the first World Cup!

– Alexandre Fayolle

“I had a good winter at home in Scotland then escaped the bad weather and flew out to join the team in Queenstown, got great time on the bikes and got some good results at NZ Cups feeling confident. Unfortunately I broke my collarbone couple of weeks back, had surgery and on the mend. I hope to be back strong soon!”

– Kenta Gallagher

“This winter I was building some of the biggest jumps of all time for DarkFest but I know we can make them bigger and that’s all I want to do this year! Build and ride huge jumps!!”

– Sam Reynolds

“As a team owner I feel that this year we never had such a good group of riders, staff and sponsors! Everyone has worked so hard that now I feel anything is possible. As a rider I’m going to focus on one simple task: have fun on any kind of bike: Enduro, DH, Pump track and Dual slalom.”

– Fabien ‘Couscous’ Cousinié

We want to thank the brands that are behind us. Thank you for helping us chase our dreams!
