This is what their press release had to say: “You may not have heard of our new Loopholes wheelset yet, so let’s get you up to speed. Available in 29” only, both boost and super boost compatible, Loopholes will take your ride to the next level. We surfed to their website to get more details on the Loopholes and found out they are a carbon rimmed, 32 spoke wheel set using the Industry Nine Hydra hubs. The classy Evil decals can be removed if you prefer an all carbon look.
For the rims, they are using a special ‘Fusion Fibre’ layup carbon, to create a stiff yet compliant feel on the rims. By using a 3 cross lacing pattern in the rear they aim to ensure long levity when schralpin round the hood, while the 2 cross lacing pattern is used on the front wheel to give it great dampening and more traction. Holding it all together are Sapim J bend spokes, and high quality brass nipples.
