Innerleithen was one of the birthplaces of DH racing in the U.K. Now in 2023, the hills surrounding the Tweed Valley are ideally suited as Enduro tracks, with long, twisty, fast, technical trails which have become a regular stop on the Enduro World Series tour.
Hailing from the Netherlands, Reverse racer & European DH Champ Tristan Botteram has switched from DH to Enduro racing for the 2023 season. He decided to spend a few weeks training in February, finding dry ground, and a trail network that surpassed his expectations. The few weeks he planned turned into 6, and hes planning to make the trip back for next winter..
