The I-Beam mini tool is achingly good looking; the anodised blue central column catches the eye and draws your attention. But can the good looks live up to the task in hand? The tool features just about everything you would need to work on most of the bolts on your bike. The tools are also a decent length and not too “stubby” allowing you to get them into those hard to reach places. It does lack a chain breaking device, and a Philips head but it is one of the lightest on test.

Verdict

Simple, good-looking and very lightweight, it also packs enough of a punch to enable it to be a very effective trail tool.
