Heavy duty fabric is used throughout the shorts with a durable Spandex stretch material in the crotch area and across the rear giving you the freedom of movement you need in a freeride/downhill short.

Very slightly elasticated at the waist and with an adjustable ratchet closure system you can get the fit snug, whilst the waistband remains neat and uncomplicated.

Two hand pockets with zip closure keeps your essential secure, whilst the full mesh lining helps to wick the moisture away on hot rides. There are also two removable side hip pads that are held in place internally with Velcro tabs should you want some extra protection in that exposed area. The large O’Neal branding rubber patches on the leg also add an extra degree of protection.

For an incredibly solid pair of shorts to tackle FR/DH trails, with a sleek and stylish look, that have the stamp of approval from one of the worlds top riders then the Element FR short are the ticket.

His first mountain bike was a Trek 820, which he bought in 1990. It didn’t take him long to earn himself a trip to the hospital on it, and he’s never looked back since. These days he’s keeping it rubber side down, riding locally and overseas as much as possible.
