What can we say apart from WOW, these bars are stunning! The weave looks awesome under the gloss finish of the bar itself, add in the black graphic and you have something that looks good enough to eat. At 225g the bars are very light too, although they should be super strong featuring both internal and external tapering to ensure maximum stiffness and strength. The 50.8mm rise allows you to have a very relaxed position on the bike but the bars are available in 12.7 and 25.4mm rise.
On the Trail
We put these on the Ragley, our hardcore hard tail test bike and we haven’t taken them off yet! The look stunning and feel very stiff when you ride with them which sharpens up the steering of the bike and inspires confidence to drop your front wheel hard into the turns. Being carbon they also remove some of the trail buzz associated with smaller bumps. At the moment they only come in a 720mm length and we would love to see some longer ones as we tend to ride 760mm bars for everything aside from XC whippet duties. The price is also set to win over a lot of riders, £109.99 for a full carbon bar set up.
