Deity make a variety of components, but they have their roots firmly in the robust category of mountain biking. With a dirt jumping heritage the Cavity has a certain style about it that is unmistakable. Suitable for the burlier side of mountain biking, weight weenies might find this a little heavy, but if it is strength and reliability you are after the Cavity has it in spades. It has a super short stack height of just 32mm and the widest faceplate in the test, which offers unbridled stiffness. All the edges have been smoothed off and rounded so if you do go over the bars it shouldn’t catch or injure you. The Cavity has also been designed to flip so you can adjust the height at which it holds the bars. With clean lines it is achingly sexy whichever way you look at it.
