Arguably the most stylish shorts in the test, while the material isn’t as tough as some of the more downhill orientated shorts they survived the alpine road trip with ease. They might not look quite as white as they did when we first put them on, but they do come in black and also orange which might be more practical colours. For dry, dusty summer days though they are perfect and look great.

Made from a high-grade heavy weight polyester the Intel shorts are light enough to pedal around all day, and offer good durability too. There are vents integrated into the legs, which can be opened, or closed depending on the weather and two zip pockets on either side. Perfect for your lift pass or car key. They have a zip and popper closure system with Velcro adjustment tabs on the sides to trim the fit.
Unlike some of the shorts in the test the Intel come with a chamois liner, which is very comfortable and makes them a bit of a bargain at the price listed. There is also another stash pocket on the rear of the shorts.
Comfort is a big factor with the Intel short, they let in plenty of air and keep you cool and during long days in the saddle you hardly notice them, a generous cut on the length also keeps things looking stylish.
