Video: ‘Marin des Cimes’ feat Lucas Frigout

For more than 10 years, we are more used to seeing Lucas Frigout in videos or articles related to MTB racing.
Today, Lucas wanted to escape and go for an adventure with his bike, but not only that… As a passionate skipper, he takes us for a “boat trip” at his home, around Lake Geneva. At the helm of his sailboat, he reaches the shore, at the bottom of 4 of the region’s main mountain peaks in order to climb and descend them with his mountain bike. Far from the clock and the stress of the race, it is an adventure and a return to basics that Lucas offers us through his film for which he had the original idea. In addition to using his sailboat to move from one place to the others, he pushes the limits of mountain biking by riding completely new trails and in incredible landscapes just a stone’s throw, or rather two nautical miles, from his home.
For the filming, who better than his long-time friend, Arnaud Burille (and his team at The Ridge Film), specialist in outdoor audiovisual productions, to accompany him and share this expedition. What a contrast during this week of living together in the 15m2 of the boat and in the immensity of the surrounding mountainous landscapes.
