Latest news as of 8th July 2019

Due to the ongoing National Insurance Crisis in Ireland we are unfortunately Still Closed.

We are still trying everything to reopen the Bike Park as soon as possible but unfortunately we are not there yet. We appreciate that this is very frustrating for you as it is for us too.

Realistically at this stage we won’t be reopen before August. But as soon as we have news we will let everyone know.

Thanks a million for your patience and continued support.

Kind regards,
Graham, Sandi and the BPI Team.

Unfortunately we still don't have the positive outcome we have been looking for. However the battle continues and we are exploring every opportunity open to us to find a solution
.
Until then, and out of respect to you the amazing mtb community we are closed for bookings until further notice
.
Please keep an eye out for updates... we will have one hell of celebration at in BPI when we reopen our doors
.
Kind regards,

Still Down …. But not out!!
Unfortunately we will NOT be open this weekend 25th and 26th of May as the decision on our insurance hasn’t come through on time, which is very frustrating for us but especially for you. We need to make a decision on it now so that everyone that is booked in can try and rearrange to do something else. Anybody that is booked in will automatically receive a full refund and all membership ticket holders please remember that we will naturally extend your tickets for each week that has been lost.
Hopefully we will have better news next week.
Kind regards,
Graham, Sandi and the BPI Team.

Latest Update on Trying to Reopen.

Firstly, we are quite simply overwhelmed with the support we are getting from everyone. It’s just amazing how a sudden closure of a small business can affect so many people in different ways and we are again truly sorry for all the inconvenience caused.
The latest news is that we are waiting to receive a final decision tomorrow morning from Insurance Company and if it’s good news we will be able to open up at the weekend. And if it’s not, then we will remain closed for another while.
We understand that there is quite a few people booked in for this weekend and if you can’t wait until tomorrow for a decision and need to make alternative plans in the next few days that’s no problem as we will naturally issue you a full refund.
Again, we are asking you for your patience and to cross all your fingers and hopefully we might get the green light tomorrow. As soon as we know, you will know.
Best regards,
Graham, Sandi and the BPI Team.

No Birthday Cake for Bike Park Ireland this year.
Bike Park Ireland should be celebrating its 5th birthday this week but instead we must announce the following:

Bike Park Ireland must close this weekend 17th, 18th and 19th May.
It comes with an enormous amount of disappointment and frustration that we must close ALL of our trails until sometime next week, effective immediately.

This is due to the “National Insurance Crisis” that is effecting most if not all activity based businesses this year. Unfortunately we are no exception.

We have been working day and night to find a solution and we will continue to do so until we have it, but as it stands and through no fault of our own we are the latest victims of the ridiculous insurance crisis.

We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience caused and we just hope that you have patience with us and continue to support us when we reopen, which we hope will be very soon.

Please keep an eye on our webpage and FB for updates. All bookings made for this weekend will be fully refunded, and fingers crossed we are back to normal again next week.

Usually we are asking you to like and share our posts for some fun or a competition, but sadly on this occasion it is because we want all of our valued customers and friends to know so they can avoid a wasted journey.

Yours sincerely,
Graham, Sandi and all of our BPI Team.

Description
Bike Park Ireland is the first official Mountain Bike Park in Ireland offering everyone from beginners to pro's the opportunity to have an action packed day out. With 8 gravity fed downward trails to choose from, a seriously cool uplift service (your chairlift to the top of the trails) and the largest pump track in the country, you will find it hard to contain your smile.
We are a family run business and the bike park is entirely on private grounds and it's quite simply the best place in Ireland to come and have fun on a mountain bike. If you have all the gear and a bike, great, bring it - if you don't have anything, that's fine too because we have it all here for you to hire, just bring a pair of shoes with grips and we will take care of the rest. We cannot over emphasise enough the fact that anyone that can ride a bike will have loads of fun here.
We have a large fleet of superb Kona bikes for hire, including helmets and pads, showers and changing rooms, a gorgeous café called "The Mucky Boot Café" which serves homemade hot food all day.If your not into biking that's fine too as we have a lovely walk to the top of the trails where you can see as many as 8 county's.
Our bike park is family friendly and kids of all ages will spend hours playing around on bikes and lets face it there's a kid in all of us and we all just want to play on bikes every now and then!!!
