On a sunny day in March on the slopes of Folgaria, Italy, Italian Canyon CLLCTV ambassador Andrea Maranelli was undertaking his #PowerOnGameON challenge to see how many metres he could both climb and descend in one hour.
Taking the Torque:ON donned with spiked tyres, he began his ascent up the slopes, somewhat regretting his decision of not getting out earlier as the slopes had begun to soften under the blazing March sun. As our only category 5 EMTB offering, the Torque:ON was the perfect choice for Andreas challenge as he sped down the slopes, carving up the snow whilst racing to the bottom ready to do it all over again.
Passing bewildered skiers, Andrea managed to rack up 15km, and a total of 1027metres of climbing and descending. For a power hour on the slopes, we think that’s pretty impressive!
