Hope Technology have released their shortest crank arm length to date, a whopping 10mm shorter than the previous shortest option. Joe set about testing them and figuring out the pro’s and con’s to the new set up.
With crank length affecting all sorts, from the ability to twist your body in corners, the effectiveness of half pedal strokes, the ability to fit in pedal strokes between obstacles, pedal clearance from the ground, the peddling motion and general overall stance on the bike.
A fully wet day out and a great outcome from the testing. Much fun was had.
