Wish I could be throwing the bright yellow kit on again and heading to Andorra this week but sadly having to take a little back step. Following three knocks to the head whilst racing and training in the past month my health is suffering a little. Time to listen to my body, take a little time out and focus on getting my health back where it needs to be.
The demands of racing at World Cup level is so high on both the body and mind, not only just at races but for all of the training that it takes to compete at this level too and right now the more I push the worse I get.
Time for a little rest, recovery and rehab work with @rise_mtbperformancecoaching.
Huge thanks to @specialized_uk And @hopetech for the continued support, I’ll be back but now it’s time for a little time out.

Hard one to swallow that, gutted to not qualify but time to learn from mistakes and bring the focus to the next round. Can not thank @daniel_bladon12 @hopetech and @ohlinsmtb enough for all the work they have helped me with this weekend, time to get my head down and build ready for the next round
