Take a look at some awesome Ainsa action! Last week saw the Giant team in Spain for EWS round 7. Blue skies and dusty trails made for some epic enduro racing. McKay Vezina had to hold his own as the only team member racing, but did a great job shredding solo!
This week the Factory Team raced in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees at the 7th round of the EWS. Course conditions were arid and accurately matched by the temperature, a stark contrast to the flash flood experienced here in 2015 that resulted in mid-race evacuations.
Mckay Vezina represented the Enduro program by himself while his teammates are out with injuries. Coming from Southern California, Mckay felt at home on the dry track, holding down two Top-20 stage results, and two more just outside. He experienced a couple setbacks on two critical stages though that affected his overall time, placing him in 32nd overall at the end of the weekend.
