Damit wurde der Grundstein für die heute mehr als 100 Jahre alte Familientradition gelegt. ROSE war einer der Pioniere für die Produktion individueller Bikes. Was bereits Mitte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts im damaligen Ladenlokal an der Ravardistraße üblich war, wird heute auch über den Versand und den Web-Konfigurator angeboten. Kunden stellen sich aus dem umfangreichen Sortiment ihr ROSE Traumbike nach Wunsch und auf die Körpermaße zugeschnitten zusammen. 1993 fiel der Startschuss für das moderne Versandzentrum an der Schersweide in Bocholt, in dem fortan auf 4.000 m² die Verwaltung und Logistik sowie die Fahrradproduktion untergebracht waren. Mittlerweile wurde die Logistik durch zahlreiche An- und Neubauten auf über 32.000 m² vergrößert, zuletzt durch das neue Versandzentrum mit Fahrradproduktion an der Isselburger Straße. Ein weiterer Meilenstein der Unternehmensentwicklung war die Eröffnung der ROSE BIKETOWN 2005. Von bislang ca. 1.000 m² zog das Ladengeschäft an die Werther Straße in Bocholt und bietet dort auf 6.000 m² ein Einkaufserlebnis der Extraklasse. Die amerikanische Fachzeitschrift Bicycle Retailer bezeichnete die ROSE BIKETOWN als schönsten Fahrradladen der Welt. Die BIKETOWN München wurde mit dem „Best of Best Award“ im Bereich Interior, Retail bei den ICONIC Awards 2015 ausgezeichnet. Die Auszeichnung ist eine weitere Ehre für unseren Konzeptstore, der bereits im Januar 2015 mit dem renommierten Preis „Stores of the Year Award“ des Handelsverbands Deutschland e.V. (HDE) in der Kategorie „Out of Line“ geehrt wurde.
