The Trigger from O’Neal is a semi high top shoe designed around a skate shoe look. Available in various colours it is a unisex design, so perfect for the girls and boys who like to ride and look good at the same time. It features a toe and heel box to protect your feat, leather uppers and the O’Neal Honey Rubber sole. The laces are riveted so you can crank the shoes on nice and tight.

The comfort level is high with this shoe, even the high ankle cuff sits well and provides support and protection without getting irritating on long rides. The leather upper is sturdy and strong enough to withstand the abuse that riding will throw at it. Perhaps the biggest surprise though was the Honey Rubber sole, this sticks to the pedals like flies do to crap and was a real standout feature. It is not only grippy but the honeycomb shape allows the pins of the pedals to precisely enter the sole at the right point. If anything it can take a bit of getting used to as making small adjustments can be tricky as they are so sticky!

A great shoe if you want to look good both on and off the bike, the functionality of the Honey Rubber sole is fantastic and the shoe offers good protection with the semi high top and toe and heel boxes.

These days he’s keeping it rubber side down, riding locally and overseas as much as possible.
