Mondraker Forward Geometry Movie

A while back we showed you some images of a new stem from Mondraker that used the phrase “Forward Geometry” turns out there is a bit more to it than that and it isn’t just the stem but actually the whole bike which has changed. For 2013 the head tube has been moved forwards the new stem which plants the bars on top of the steerer tube then counteracts this keeping the cockpit short. The result, a longer distance from the bottom bracket to the front axle.

This makes the bike more stable going downhill, but also counteracts that ever so annoying “nose lift” you get when pedalling uphill. The stem gives a very “direct” feel and offers the most responsive steering you can get.

Here is Fabien to explain it all to you!
